30 Jun: “Incarnational Care” and Films

If a Fedex plane crashes and the pilot ejects safely, the nightly news aerial footage will be accompanied by the anchors voice saying, “Here’s a look at the wreckage.” But if a passenger airline crashes and all souls on board are lost, the tone will be more somber and the reporter’s voice will relay, “Behind me you can see the terrible carnage of the flight.”

Some of you have asked an important question regarding the screenplay, The Author. WHY? Why am I interested in producing this film? Why this story? Why now? The answer in a word, “identity”.

30 Jun: Pastor or Filmmaker

I was thirteen sitting in front of a clunky, oversized keyboard, typical of ancient computers from the early 1990s. A yellow, legal sized pad lay next to me. An almost ornamental handwriting filled 90 pages. It was the first feature length screenplay my eyes had ever observed.
